| Rare Earth Venture Incorporated is a small land development company established in 1998 and based in Baddeck, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.. Company owners - Athol Grant and his wife Bernice - have lived and worked in Cape Breton for more than 30 years.
Athol was employed as a land surveyor with the provincial government for 29 years and for the last six years has dedicated his time to Rare Earth Venture - combing the island and always on the lookout for that next picture perfect shoreline property or hidden getaway in the area’s vast wooded regions. Over the years, Athol has been involved in various land development and surveying projects and has gained an appreciation of the qualities his customers look for in a property and a place to build a home or cottage. He has also maintained his surveyor’s license. |

Other attractions include the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, a world-class golf course (Bell Bay Golf), a yacht club, hockey arena, curling club, skiing and snowmobile trails, financial institutions, a hospital and many unique shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
